Pet food is now available in many retail locations. You can purchase it at a pet store just as you could for many years. However, you can also purchase it from your vet, at the grocery store, at a large retail store, or even online.

Pet food is available for dogs, cats, birds, and fish. In addition, if you have a small animal like a rabbit or ferret you can bet that businesses will cater to your furry friend. In addition, there are different kinds of foods: canned food and dry food.

There are many price points for pet food. Large stores such as Wal-Mart have their own inexpensive generic brands. Veterinarians suggest buying a name-brand product such as Purina or Science Diet because these companies spend large amounts of money researching nutrition.
